@@cuddlequeen3225 If you followed what I did here, the door will be open. If you used True Asylum Skip, a Force Quit Wrong Warp can get you back in.

It still works on current patch. I do find it easier to perform on keyboard than controller; but it does work on controller as well. Do note that some control schemes on controller automatically uncrouch if you push forward too much on the left stick. FoV shouldn't matter too much. Try crouching slightly earlier if you aren't making it across. The timing on it is relatively tight.

Nope. It's quite real. If you don't believe me for whatever reason, watch the dozens of any% speedruns that use this exact glitch.

I did it because it's faster. You can go down the elevator if you're not concerned with speed though.

I think that killing the demon and reloading is a perfectly valid way of doing it. Either way you come back to an alive boss

Double check to make sure the camera angle is correct. Also note that you can't move at all when tapping W on the keyboard to align your character. If you move even slightly, it'll throw the angle off.

Yes. You can't use the last checkpoint trick used here though. If you skip the cutscene on the first frame possible and hold forward, you should get a reviver. After that, perform the bump the same way you see in this video, but using the assault rifle. If he goes down in less than a full clip, he'll be a reviver. If he takes a full clip and is still standing, he's not a reviver.

Bosses aren't considered dead until Victory Achieved appears on screen. So it is 0 bosses. But if you don't like the method I used here, you can do True Asylum Skip, either via the plunge method or the fog gate angle change method. So either way it's still possible to get the sword in 0 bosses.

@@splee5556 it’s not that I “don’t like the method”. Bosses aren’t considered dead by the game until the “victory achieved’ appears, but I think it’s fair to say that most people consider it dead when it’s HP reaches zero. You literally say yourself “we can achieve this by killing the asylum demon”. Just seemed like a weird ‘Step 1’ in a video titled “0 bosses”. Maybe I’m just being pedantic

If you return to the Iron Golem's arena, you can perform a Force Quit Wrong Warp to be warped just outside of the gate to Sen's Fortress.

Not that exact method; but there is a consistent method by dropping an item by the fog gate to enter it at a weird angle. It lets you clip inside the wall and jump over the barrier, bypassing the fight with the demon.

A boss isn't considered dead if victory achieved doesn't appear. But if you want to completely bypass fighting the Asylum Demon at all, you can do so via True Asylum Skip either using the plunge method or the fog gate angle change method. So getting it in 0 bosses is still possible, even if you consider the method used in this video as killing him.

There's a lot locked behind the executable; so stuff like new enemies and weapons aren't possible through it. New maps are possible using Lua and some of the game's other systems in TPP at least. I'm not 100% sure about getting new maps into Survive; but there's a good chance it's possible since they're both on the same engine.

@@splee5556​​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠sorry for the late message, thanks for the reply I wanted to learn how to mod and I had some ideas for survive like I mentioned above, judging from the mods for phantom pain I haven’t seen anyone attempt to created new enemies either but you gave me an idea of maybe trying to reuse some of the assets and code from tpp to survive, hopefully when I have time I’ll try this out, again thanks for the reply
